Our son took us to Joe's Crab Shack in Omaha for lunch today. Pretty good. I tried calamari for the 1st time. A bit spongy, but I'd eat it again.

I took the 5 year old granddaughter and 10 year old grandson on their 1st fishing trip this week. They caught 4. Y'all have some monster bluegill out here.

That reminds me of something fun to do up in Omaha in the summer...hit up the Surfside for fried catfish. It's right on the Missouri River and you can sit outside and have great catfish and corn fritters. Note to those with younger children...it is kind of tradition for the boats going by on the river to moon the restaurant, so keep an eye out (or don't ).

I've only been to Wangs and Rings once and it was just to watch football on the 150 TVs they had.
