Our son took us to Joe's Crab Shack in Omaha for lunch today. Pretty good. I tried calamari for the 1st time. A bit spongy, but I'd eat it again.

That reminds me of something fun to do up in Omaha in the summer...hit up the Surfside for fried catfish. It's right on the Missouri River and you can sit outside and have great catfish and corn fritters. Note to those with younger children...it is kind of tradition for the boats going by on the river to moon the restaurant, so keep an eye out (or don't ).I took the 5 year granddaughter and 10 year grandson on their 1st fishing trip this week. They caught 4. Y'all have some monster bluegill out here.

Again, I appreciate all the input I've received. If anyone wants to meet for a beer (or 2), hit me up with a private message. I'll have at least 2 weekends off starting on the 8-9, and 15-16 of May.
