Bad night for Eddie. Really getting tired of watching Green play his heart out for nothing. And serious question...who wins in a game of horse, you or Robert Brown?

Probably could have won tonight if Eddie and Brown weren't so fucking useless on offense. They combined for 4 points. What pisses me off is neither had any foul shots. It's all long range stuff with them. When you can't hit jumpers, put the ball on the floor and drive. You open up so many options. You can get a layup/dunk, get fouled, or open up an easy dumpoff to Raines/JVZ if the interior D overplays the drive.These two don't do it. They just keep jacking up brick after brick. Either they're thickheaded players or the coaches are failing massively. Brown and Eddie have struggled since December. The strategy of just keep jacking up shots till they go in is obviously not working. There are other ways to get involved in the offense but somewhere along the lines, its failing.

where was this game on lastnight, hokiesports said ACC Network, but i tuned in to see NC State and Duke. The only place i saw VT and MD on was ESPN Full Court. Oh well, just as well i didnt see it, this team has cause me so much aggravation this year, its unreal

Haha, thought so. I was just joking around and was too lazy to make up a Fry meme.

With the team we have, I'd actually start having Brown be the ball handler more to let him drive and kick (or dump) off screens. This would also free up Green to get some easy open looks with some off ball action. But this would actually require us to have scripted plays and I'm dead serious when I say I'm not sure we have more than 2; a high screen with Green and a big (99% results in a Green midrange shot) and the play where Green runs through 2 screens on the baseline and curls up to catch the ball at the 3-point arc.

I guess the point I'm making is Brown needs to used another way. He's reached Jeff Allen territory when it comes to shooting beyond the FT line; when he loads up, the entire crowd needs to scream "NOOOOOOO!". His long range shooting, especially from 3, is so poor its basically a turnover.
