I hope Sweat's injury isn't severe. I guess he will have to make up his official visit to VT the weekend of Oct. 18.

Latest update is that Sweat will remain in the hospital until at least tomorrow. He is going to have to have surgery, but it is not known at this time what for.

Not to be rude, but I would like to see the stats of early commits compared to where they end up. I know we have gotten burned a few times from these commits.

Just thinking out loud, but I don't want to deminish what we've achieved recruiting wise. Just wondering how many guys that are iffy stick with their commit. Also, sometimes we miss guys that were good like blue out of Florida.

I'm personally pretty OK with missing out on Blue now.

Yea, Blue showed his character early, and I was quite OK with his decision to go elsewhere.

Yeah more or less referencing some of these guys. I didn't quite phrase it right when I was talking about Blue. I was trying to say that was a good miss because of his character issues. It is really just a wondering type of thing. Not looking super deep into our recruiting or anything like that.

Early commits from OOS are always tricky. Homesickness is real. I don't worry about anyone in this class flipping. Losing the QB and two CBs from a couple years ago hurt at the time but none panned out long term. It still would have been nice to have those scholly spots though.

This year Barnett hurt initially but if we finish with Hill, Taylor, Dozier, one of Gaines/Dalton and Sweat I won't be too worried. I was never that big on White but do wish we had kept Lewis.

Just saw that EGW changed his crystal ball prediction to VT. Also Fullwood's twitter profile says nothing about Kentucky, and actually implies that he is not committed anywhere.
