Virginia Tech 2014 Recruiting Target List

I was super bored, so i just took a look over at Michigan's recruiting, and their class is going to be insane this year....they just got a 4* DE commit yesterday, and will likely get the #1 CB overall in June. Their class last year was pretty darn good too. No idea what Hoke and Co are telling these guys, but whatever it is, it's working. I did notice that whenever a big recruit visits, they make sure to get a pic of him with the Heisman... I'm sure that doesn't hurt.

FWIW, when all's said and done, we will also finish with a beast class...prob the best in school history.

It has always been Bama for Cornwell. Tenn is trying to make up ground, but Bama has been out in front this whole time.

Not a member of 247 but the short preview said Billy Ray Mitchell has us on top of his list. Not suprised since the only other big school offers are from NC State and Syracuse who just offered yesterday.

Pure speculation but Cole Pettit potentially could be in the same boat too. Only other AQ conference offers are from Indiana and Purdue. He is from Ohio so going to a Big 10 school could be appealing but as of now we are the best offer he holds.

Same goes for Brady Talor. Holds offers from Kentucky, Indiana and Cincy.

I'd say we are way late to the party for Register. We may have a shot at Shute....he has strong recruiting ties to NC State's staff (formerly of No. Illinois).

Well, he does seem to drive the defenders backwards on run plays....something we haven't seen much at VT lately. And he seems to have good footwork on pass protection. He looks quick at the snap and maintains a low center of gravity which says a lot considering he's probably the biggest guy on the field in these clips.
