I'd say that Tennessee and Bama DEFINITELY have the edge over VT in this one but if he's making the trip from Oklahoma, I'd say that there's more than a 3% chance that we land him. People don't roll halfway across the country to visit Blacksburg, VA .. for shits and gigs .. The fact that Park will likely land here does drop probability down ever more .. but 3% is pretty much 0%

Who are the linebackers that we are recruiting that we have a good shot with? LB is my main concern for this class along with OL but I believe in Grimes. If we don't get a few good ones this year, who would we move there from our current roster to fill the void?

RVD/McKinnon at Whip, Williams/DVD/Moss at Mike, Deon Clarke/Motuapuaka at Backer for 2014?? We will need to get a LB or 2 in this class just to add depth though. Odds are we will get some walk ons at LB that we won't hear about until they see the field too but I would like some solid players in this class and next

I agree that Grimes seems like a great guy, but he does need some solid OL recruits.

I'm hoping he's a good recruiter.

In the 2014 class, Minor is probably our best chance at a LB. We seem to be in very good shape there. Keihn is another to keep an eye on, but I'm not sure if he'd come in as a LB or DE. He seemed to really like his visit. I think Terence Ricks has a conditional offer at this point, but he could be another.

Someone mentioned walk-ons... Sam Rogers is a preferred walk-on in the 2013 class to keep an eye on.

I'm not particularly concerned about whip. We have enough good talent there. I'm more concerned about mike and backer, but, fingers crossed, I think we'll be alright though thinner than we'd like.

Rodgers could be a player. I watched him play ILB in high school and he was all over the place

Aaron glover and marcus boone are the other two that come to mind ... Winovich (?) is a possible but seems to like pitt ... And khein does seem to like us too

For those of u who aren't over on 247 .. Aaron glovers dad seems like a great guy..aaron seems like a great kid and a solid player..if we offer at camp, think we'll be the team to beat...he's pretty tight with andrew brown too
