Holmes was just offered by FSU, and that was his team growing up. He immediately expanded his top-7 to a top-8 to include them.

I have read that Jacob Park does have a VT offer, though the recruiting sites aren't reflecting this.

How many linebackers do we currently have playing int he NFL? How many of those start? That is an issue when recruiting guys. I thought landing Hall and Adibi was going to turn the tide with linebacker recruiting but that has not happened. Taylor fell into our laps due to his relationship with Brandon Frye.

Also, our history of shifting guys from linebacker to end can't help. Heck, even Taylor was moved to end as a true freshman.

Adibi and James Anderson are the only two I am aware of. VT has had a lot of misses at the LB position in recent years. But just signed 2 or 3 4-star LB's a year ago (depending on where Edmunds ends up), so hopefully the tide is turning.
