Doesn't really matter if he's already made up his mind, and if he hasn't, I think it's worth a little energy by the VT staff.

Oh I think it's been worth the energy as well. You can't get talent unless you try. I'm just somewhat fatalistic about things with him. I hope he picks VT but the experts all see him and have seen him as a UVA guy.

The link you posted goes to a pay article. That's fine (I would think) if you're just referencing the one sentence blurb that they give you for free, or the subset of comments that you don't have to login to see, but I didn't see the information you gave in either place. The longer this draws out the more clear it becomes that the top DT and DE in Va never had intentions on playing with one another. Can't say I blame them they are awful close in talent and no one wants to go in to a situation second fiddle from the start based on rankings.Hard sell for any school, but got to try. I think after Brown things clear up a bit.

Did you mean top-2 DTs? I don't think the top DTs and top DE are really that close talent wise. The top DTs are a different story though.

[UR Maybe not in ranking but I am certain Holmes believes he can compete with Hand and probably didnt want to go into a situation behind him before they had a college rep. This has nothing to do with their personal relationships because i think they all are friendly.
