I think we have one coming in but have no idea who. Guesses in order of likelihood:

1. Simmonds
2. Mitchell
3. NJ linemen whose name escapes me
4. Stroeman

NJ Lineman = Billy Ray Mitchell

I would be most pleased if it is him.

Found this on another site. Not sure if it is pay material. If so, I assume a mod will delete it and offer my apologies. Regardless, I like the sounds of it.

"I just talked to some of the Virginia Tech coaches," Brown told Adam
Friedman of Rivals.com. "The conversation went very smoothly.

"I asked them where I would be playing, would I have to redshirt, what
are they looking for and what are they expecting. That's pretty much all it
was. I liked the answers."

To include from Rivals... "The (Virginia Tech) coaches are making a good case for themselves."

Saw Simmons put VT as the leader...is he jumping in as the last DB? Do we still have any shot with MJ Stewart if that's the case?

Hope is a dangerous thing.

I am afraid we joined the party too late with Brown. Where was all this smooth talking when Holmes and Hand started to slip away?

247 had 2,3 predictions for Ryan Izzo going to Boston College but now they're gone.....I'm assuming it's because BC got a TE commit today. (who btw is Tyrell Smith's teammate)
Also read that Wisconsin and Iowa made a good impression when he visited those campuses.

Brown eliminated Florida State last night. Alabama, Clemson, Virginia and Virginia Tech remain. I think I remember reading that he was planning to only have 2 hats on the table on Saturday.

Love that we are recruiting Jersey and especially Don Bosco. This kid is big and lanky but also pushes his guy to the ground. If Grimez wants him, I want him.

I agree. I looked at his film yesterday. Tyrell is a big, powerful guy who sees plays through, and I'm guessing he'll be pretty solid after working with Grimes a bit.

Always good to get an OL. Take 10 of them if we can!

Don Bosco is definitely a good place to be pulling guys from. Didn't know their coach lettered at VT until today.

Cameron Phillips has a final 5 of Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Rutgers. Hopes to decide around the time football season starts.

So basically he's going to keep VT's hopes up as long as possible before picking UVA on Saturday.

Funny that VT is in his final 5. VT just tossed him an offer only a month ago, while UVA has been on him for over a year now. UVA is the favorite, but don't count out WVU.

Maybe, but then again maybe he's just being courteous.

Or, and I know this is a long shot, maybe he'll actually consider VT.

Doesn't really matter if he's already made up his mind, and if he hasn't, I think it's worth a little energy by the VT staff.

No need to be a sourpuss about it. I don't see anything here but the guy being a class act.
