I've heard very little on him so far, but its still early in the 2013 recruiting process, so his name may pop up more in the coming months.

Yea I just heard that on TSL. Also read that UVA leads for Mizzell but he has not been to a game at VT yet.

The atmosphere??? That's kind of laughable. But him liking UVA, that doesn't surprise me. Sounds like ML is building a good relationship with the HC at Bayside and Hampton Roads in general. I am sure Trey Nicholson is in his ear also...NO worries though..I think this year's class proves (and we aren't done yet!) that we will still get our fair share of the kid's in VA..

Sort of off-topic, but have you guys seen UVa's latest recruiting tactic? Apparently, they sent recruits a letter prior to the GT game that said, by the time you read this, we will have already beaten Georgia Tech. I guess it worked out for them, but really???

I hope they try that against VT. In fact I hope every single one of their recruits go to the UVA-VT game and watch us dominate the field and the stadium.

I really hope that UVA is 5-6 coming into our game. I hope that they send them a letter that says "By the time you read this, we will have our lockers cleaned out and be home for the holidays, so if you have any questions, be sure to call any of us, as we have all of the time in the world".

Bayside is the new OS in regards to their coach. Similar to Varina. Will be difficult to get him here for a game.

OS is starting to turn around with "letting" their kids visit VT, I doubt Bayside "lets" him come for a game

I'd agree, but the position is RB, which is one of our bread and butter positions. Of course, I thought our CB history would be a reason for Nicholoson to give us a better shot, so who knows. Maybe Mizzell is next years JC Coleman.

I have a feeling we will fill up most of the 2013 boat pretty early this year, once the HS season ends and people send in more of their film, there will be some good offers that go out and I think some fairly quick verbals...
