cant we just pull it and save the spot for next year? if he was from any state besides florida, he would have gotten that sh*t pulled so quick. i guess also VA, and depending on the part of other states such as GA, NC, and SC.

Next year will be an interesting class. I expect most of the top VA talent to go out of state. Also we will have less schollys to offer.

You can't blame Blue for playing the game that he played .. Hedging his bets .. You could also not blame VT for pulling his offer, knowing that he's playing those games...but they're not like that. He's a good catch. If he comes, cool -- if not, we'll be fine. Caleb was the big catch IMO -- keeping #1 offensive player in-state was big .. Now let's go get Bucky

Bucky will be tough to get. There are some other very good players in state though, that we can get. Kendall Fuller is the lynch pin of next year's class in my opinion.

Here's the deal, folks...Caleb will be an impact player LONG before Kirven is an impact player for Bama.

Here's Bama's roster by position...scroll down to find the DLs. Please notice that they're all about the same height and weight...they're basically interchangeable between the single NT position and the two DEs.

They only lose 2 out of those 16 DLs to graduation, and they're adding 4 more DLs (including Kirven) for 2012. How soon do you realistically expect to see Kirven break into the Bama DL 2-deep?

I'm with MattB4VT .. There's good talent in VA but there's good talent in PA, NC, SC, GA, and FL .. looks like we've spread our wings a lot more down the eastern seaboard .. There's plenty of talent in these states to spread around. I'm sure we'll get what we need .. Need to focus on OL and a QB (Bucky) and the Good Council kids.

While it appears that KK was not a surpise to most, it was definitely a surpise to me - SO F*CK, D*MNIT, SH*T!!!! If we want to contend for something big, we have to start to win these battles against Bama and the other SEC schools.

Bucky and Kendall Fuller are must gets IMO. But neither are really VT leans at the moment.

Derrick Green is scary good. But he is headed out of state, probably to OSU.
