247 is no different than any other recruiting service. 247 caters to their subscribers just like Rivals and Scout does, and being that Jamie Oakes is the main writer that covers the state of Virginia for 247, as well as covers UVa for 247, of course the rankings are going to be a bit slanted. Here is an idea; Instead of bitching about the recruiting rankings, sign up with 247 to be the writer for the Hokie page.

He received his ACT score yesterday and scored a 24 on it, which means he is fully qualified by a wide margin.

just saying. I know that is a C+ ish GPA and every school stretches admissions for athletes but all the time saying UVA struggles because of their high standards and then they have recruits getting in with 2.5 GPAs in high school which is a joke compared to college especially one with the academic reputation of UVA.

People that need it to qualify. If he has a 2.5 in one of the worst school districts in the state, he would need a UNC tutor to pass at UVA or VT. And I have heard his grades have dropped even more this year.
