Yeah, I know...but you can't teach 6'6".

I could think of a couple of other positions he could play if he has the talent to play TE, or the frame to add weight to grow into an OT

Dooley was our gamble DE. He is 6'5". If he had decided to go elsewhere, who knows. 2 more DL spots left though and I think we all know who they are being saved for.

Ekanem plays at my old high school, Centreville, I hope he continues the tradition of tech players coming out of there.

Centreville Alum right here as well. Class of 2005. Feels weird to not have a Cville kid on VT this year.

Joel Caleb had 15 carries for 168 yards and three touchdowns and he was 8-of-15 passing for 137 yard

TD runs of 42, 38, 9 yards.

Just my opinion, but it's very, very difficult for me to think of a physical freak like Dooley as a "gamble" of any kind.

Undoubtedly a very unhappy young man..

Now, not only has he transferred all the way out to New Mexico to play for a coach that's no longer there, but he also has to sit out this year.

Hard to prove you're the #1, or even the #2, QB at Tech if you have injuries that keep you out of Spring Practice.

Anybody know who our visitors are this weekend? I've heard Caleb's name, but anybody else? This could be a big weekend with this being a night game. Lane Stadium will be electric.

I think that J.C. is going to come up, which would be great with Caleb coming. Also, I think that Mangus has scheduled his official for the Clemson game but I could be mistaken. I assume some of the more local boys will come by (Motley) and some 2013 guys, hopefully Parker and Harris.

When does the time for the Miami game get released???

You're right Mangus will be in town on Friday. The Miami game is at 3:30.
