I eat my words...and I'm not fond of crow.
Two big time throws in OT, nice job, Cousins.
Well, this should finally end the whole "Cousins can't win big games" concept. Dude definitely did his job today.

Pretty hard to fire them when literally no one outside of the team itself had them winning a playoff game this year, let alone going to beat a 13-3 Saints team on the road.
I did!
I wouldn't have bet money on us winning today, for obvious reasons. Every game is going to be a massive challenge for a 6th seed team that will play every playoff game they make it to on the road. That's especially when you're talking about playing 13+ win teams with elite QB's in tough environments to play in like with the insane playoff crowds in New Orleans.
That said, I always felt like this was our best matchup to start off with if we had to make the playoffs as the 6th seed. Yes the Saints were excellent team this year, and yes they should have been able to beat us, especially playing in New Orleans. Despite that, it was still a dome game, where we obviously always naturally have better odds in than going to an outdoors game in Janurary. I also consider us lucky for getting San Fran in the divisional round, because I give us a better shot there than outdoors against Green Bay or Seattle. At this point, our luckiest path to the Superbowl would be ending up with a 2017 NFC title match in Philly. So, in the words of Mike Tice... "Go Eagles! E-A-G-L-E-S. *grunting chuckles*".
