Now I know this is about a different Packers team, & it was Barry Sanders, not Peterson, but: I can remember a play-off game against the Lions [no one can stop Barry right?], & they held Sanders to -2 yds total with a long of 8.




You never can tell - that's why they play. I don't care if AP gets 200+, I just want GB to get the # 2 seed & a bye.

All I mean is that if the focus becomes a record, the danger is loosing focus on the more important issue. I think Frasier should be smart enough to handle it, but you never know.
AP should be MVP, but no way will he beat Manning [make me sick!].
I think part of the problem, besides rb v. qb, is the Broncos are viewed as top-tier now, and the Vikes will still be considered 2nd class [at least right now, that's how the media is going to see it].






In the end none of it matters, GB is gonna be the 2 seed.
[if it comes down to Ponder . . . Rodgers will prevail]

Yeah, the only way AP gets MVP is if he breaks the record. And it is sad, especially when you look at where the two teams were last year.

What I meant with it coming down to Ponder again was the bad picks. He definitely can't get in a shootout, Rogers wins that every time. We'll see a lot of nickle and dime again, take away the quick strikes and make the Pack have to dink and dunk to get down field.

It's an awesome surprise. It's great to see Ponder developing. Hopefully he can keep doing that.
I haven't payed much attention to Pro football before now, so I didn't know what to expect except that we sucked last year. I need to start paying more attention to it.

I thought going into the season that a .500 record was a lofty goal.

Amazing to see them now with a shot at the playoffs. If they can get there, anything can happen.
