Yeah it would have been nice to take a series from those drunkin Sconies, they pretty much our number in everything right now: Twins, Vikes, gopher, football / hockey. What the hell happened to our MN sports?

Yeah so far I like him, he gives us some hope from a young QB that is something we haven't had in a long time! Do you think he starts right out of the shoot this year or do they bring in a veteran to take some abuse to start the season?

In a perfect world he would sit for a season, or two.
But it sounds like they want to start him right away, depending on if they have a training camp. If no camp they would almost have to bring a vet in.

Did you get that bonfire going last night JR?
Ours was great, I had a sixer of Coronas on ice and boy they were tasty!
I know your are into the drags at BIR, do you get into dirt track racing as well at all? North Central speedway in Brainerd runs every Saturday, and I am only about 3-4 miles from there. So we can here the races every Sat. night pretty well. I usually go over there a couple times a year, usually when the sprint cars are in town.

I do go to Princeton Speedway for their dirt track races a couple times a year, Sprint Cars are a blast. Them suckers fly!

I think the road you may be thinking of is 371. and yes it is, I am sure you pass it on your way to BIR, it is just South of Brainerd about 5 miles.

Princeton has a nice track I have been there a couple of times. Most of the same drivers that run Princeton also run Brainerd. I'm thinking Princeton runs on Fri., and Brainerd on Sat. nights. I always liked those dirt track boys, just blue-collar guys like the rest of us doing what they love with what they can afford.

Sprint cars are pretty cool I have a friend that runs that series.

LOL, yeah 371. I've been going there damn near every year since about '86 and still say 310 for some reason.
