Vick on Foles say he should start

Mike Vick said today that foles has been playing too well to not be taken out as starter. So I think that the eagles should go ahead and trade away or get rid of vick this offseason. I think that Nick Foles has done enough as the starter to be the quarterback of the team and im sure teams like the vikings or raiders could give up a 2nd rounder depending on where they finish the season and land in the draft. I think the vikings can have a great 2015 season similar to what the chiefs did this season if they had a veteran QB.

what does everyone else think?

I think if the Eagles were offered a 2nd for Vick, they couldn't say yes fast enough...process the paperwork fast enough.....As this point in his career, Vick is NOT worth a 2nd round pick....Not sure of the contract, but no team wil pay him 8Mil to be there QB now.....They will try to trade him, and not find a partner, and release him...

I don't think Vick will be content as a long term backup, but the fact that he's willing to say the right things now will get him suitors this offseason.

EDIT: a second for Vick? The redskins would be lucky to get that for a guy like cousins with much more upside.

No way anyone will give any pick for a guy they can more than likely pick up in the offseason. Unless Foles has a career ending injury in the next few weeks, Vick's days in an Eagle uniform are about over.

I do agree that Vick is done in PHI and should be released this off season.

Assuming his price tag...there are probably 3 or 4 spots that make sense for Vick to finish out at.

He's completely right. As much as I shit on Vick for being a terrible QB, he's actually been a model teammate here, so he gets kudos for that.

Vick's contract is up after this season, so they can't trade him, they'll just let him walk.

Vick got paid already; he has no need to start.
