Not sure I'd even want them to sign him now, even though it wouldn't cost them any players to get him. He'd just be a clog in the way of the development of some of our guys who bounced between Seattle and Tacoma last year.

Oh, it is not over yet. He could be claimed (doubtful because you get his $4.4M contract if claimed), but after 10 days they could still trade him. That is the part that scares me. Jack may not be able to resist himself and still deal for him.

Yep. If there are going to be some at bats for the fifth outfielder, I'd rather Romero, Jones or Chavez get them. Those three won't be any worse than Viciedo. We just don't need the next version of Cole Gillespie or Chris Denorfia.

Romero tore up the PCL after he was sent down last year. i still have hope for him. Of course Peguero and Franklin did the same thing, but hopefully Romero is different.
