Apparently the reason why the spread went from 3.5 to 6.5 is that Vegas doesn't trust that the Big XII won't put the fix into this game.

Some sportsbooks won't even put a spread on the game..

Vegas puts -1/-1 spreads on tough games. The reason is if either team wins by one point, vegas wins both sides of the bet.

Bodog is where I do all my betting.......usually if there are games where the spread moves one direction really fast they won't put up their spread until the day of.

And you're right though, it's probably because they are suspicious that something is going on and they don't want a bunch of people making easy money on the early line.

The only time Vegas won't put a line on a FBS game is when they expect a 45+ point blowout.

I would expect Bodog to place a spread sometime Saturday.......or whenever the spread levels itself out a bit. They're just trying to figure out right now where it "should" be at, because all these other sites that allowed people to place big money on OU at -3 are going to give out a lot of free money if this game is indeed rigged in some way.

well i tried to check out this game earlier but i had no line on sporstbetting .com i havent checked recently if they put anything out or not.

p.s. way to emotion in me to even consider betting it! id have a friken heart attack!

The time to get in was 6.5. It's back down to 4 now so money was flowing to Nebraska at the high spread.
