I assume it means the "upstate" branch of the University of South Carolina....as if losing to the Gamecocks isn't bad enough.

I'm glad he's got a good attitude. I watched him on the bench during the last game and he was invested, dapping up teammates and being encouraging. I respect him for that. If I were in his situation, I doubt I would handle it with the same class that he has shown

With all the injuries our guys get in practice, I'm convinced the court is absolute shit. No team has that many injuries. There is an equipment or facility problem somewhere.

I'm not going to lie, every time I open this thread I expect a big message to pop up saying "...IS A JOKE"

I know I'm not on the basketball board much .. and I am by no means an expert, but the program (even to a casual observer) is obviously in a downward spiral. Why can't we get a top notch coach in town? Gregg Marshall, Shaka Smart? There are plenty others.

I know these guys have been mentioned before but why can't we get them to our ACC school???

Can't afford them? Facilities (or lack thereof)? They are Kings at the universities and towns/cities they work in? They can win 25 games a year playing their weak ass conference and be in the field 9 years out of 10? Or simply the perception that VT cannot compete with the big boys and will continually be ACC bottom feeders in the sport?? Probably all of the above.

I don't think it's that y'all can't afford them, I think it is that y'all just don't want to dish out the money.
