Thats a tough one....only about 8 games on the schedule that we should be favored in. We do get Clemson and Wake at home, so there is a possibility for a couple ACC wins.

It irks me a bit when they pick a freshman as first team all ACC preseason.

I have the same thought. Preseason is meaningless, but I think they should at least throw a bone to someone who has already produced something at this level.

It's really an indication of the talent drain in the ACC from last season. It feels like everyone of note is gone.

Does anyone know if Tech will be selling tickets for the "Governor's Holiday Classic" against VCU?

According to the website, JMU and VCU are selling tickets, but Tech and Hampton don't seem to have that access.

I'm not sure how "suspended indefinitely" becomes "Harris and Finney-Smith will not play in Florida’s exhibition game and they will both miss at least one regular season game." Am I using a different definition for indefinitely? I feel like it means longer than an exhibition game and one regular season game... or, at the very least, an undefined or indefinite number of games?

"at least" does mean that the number of games is undefined... but I certainly get where you're coming from. Programs have learned to throw out the word "indefinitely" to make things sound tough, whether they have any intention of truly being tough or not.

Are we looking at a losing season for sure? Or is Erick Green's subtraction going to allow other players to fill the void and then some? Felt like we were pretty easy to gameplan against last year. Do we have the ability to surprise people this year or are we rebuilding through-and-through?

I think we'll be better than last year. I'm not expecting a lot better, but I could be pleasantly surprised.

I haven't seen any of them play nor have I read all that much on them. But I'd lean towards a losing year. I'd say 11 wins is probably the target. But I'm going to try to set my reasons behind and just go into each game with zero expectations so if we win, its great. If we lose, whatever, I'll survey the situation some other day
