After seeing like 3 or 4 of these tweets last night, it was obvious most were doing it for attention.

I agree. I think Sweden will be good, I expect them in the top 3...but I don't see them as being exceptionally better than the US. And I agree. After the shock of Ryan not being on the team wore off a bit...it really was Yandle I was upset about. Biggest miss will be him, 100%. I don't see how he's left off, really don't. Burke needs to shut his pie hole. Faulk, although he's RH, won't probably play, so that's a moot point...but that's the argument I've seen...too many LH Dmen. Even then, there's Fowler and Orpik. I like Orpik, but I've personally watched his play deteriorate in the past 4 years. Fowler has offensive edge, but I'd still take Yandle over him. Yandle's been consistent the past 4 or so years. Burke apparently needs to not be involved in these processes if he's overruling people...not his team.

I wouldn't mind him either. Poile couldn't win in Washington. It doesn't look like he will in Nashville either. Burke inherited a team from Bryan Murray that won the cup in Anaheim. We need some new blood I guess.

Don't be so sure. People are pissed about JJ and Dubinsky, which they also feel was a snub. I'm damn glad they didn't make it. Neither one is particularly lighting it up.

Ryan and Yandle are the biggest head-scratchers to me. They said they didn't think they were defensive-minded enough, but the whole team is defensive minded. Having aggressively offensive players might be a nice complement to the rest of the roster.

But, we'll see how it works out. Perhaps a lot of 1-0 and 2-1 victories are in store for Team USA, which is just fine for me.

I don't think Burnside crossed the line - it's not like he quoted Burke saying he'd go all Jumbo Joe's rooster if Bobby Ryan made the team.
