Dash will be happy to know that Etem has been selected. Should definitely make the team, IMO.

I wish Emerson was on the Canadian squad, he and Linden Vey have been tearing it up for the Tigers for the past month or so. If he doesn't make the US team, I'll be shocked.

Thanks for the info, Destroy... nice to see Jack Campbell up at the top of the list. The Michigan goalie factory keeps churning them out!

Ryan Bourque (Ray Bourque's kid) is on the list. I'll be rooting for him.

I will forever be happy watching any team that has Patrice Cormier on it lose.

yeah I have to admit, as much as I was cheering for the Canadians, that team sure did have its share of assholes. (Cormier, della Rovere, etc).
I sure hope the team's character this year is much better

Assistant Coach: Phil Housley, St. Mary's Point, Minn.

Jack Campbell better be ready to see a ton of rubber...

along with the goaltending (I think we've been spoiled by standout goaltending over the last few years at the tourney, but nobody last year established themselves as the bonafide No. 1 guy)

I'll be cheering for another good performance by Chris Kreider (my Sea Dogs own his CHL rights), and hope that after this tournament he decides to pull a Louis Leblanc and leave Boston College and come play in the QMJHL for a chance to win the Memorial Cup. :D

We tried that last year but he was tough to convince. :L

I hope Brock Nelson makes the team. I know Nino will play for the Swiss & De Haan will be on Team Canada. The World Juniors might give me some hockey to pay attention to for a couple of weeks since my teams season ended a month ago.

I notice there are 4 players from California on that list. Not to mention 1 from Vegas, Arizona, and Texas as well. I wonder what old Gunsandbeer (among others) over at the swamp think of that. :D

I think its pretty cool myself. Can't refer to the US team as "Yankees" anymore.

A little surprised that Tyler Pitlick didn't get invited to the US camp, although the Tigers will be hard hit with the loss of Linden Vey to the Canadian team and Emerson Etem to the US squad (assuming that both those guys make their respective teams).
