I'm happy for Mr Brady that he renegotiated a new contract so this suspension cost him 1/10 of what it would have over his existing contract.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. The NFL could drag their feet most of the rest of the off season. I've also heard there is talk that Goodell will lessen the games suspended. To me you stick to the number already put out there just because of how long this whole process has been drug out.

I'd have given the Pats the benefit of the doubt in 3/4 of those games with Brady. I give them the benefit of the doubt in 3/4 without him. It's hard to beat the Pats in their house. They have some solid players on that roster and I doubt the suspension makes a big difference in terms of the W-L outcome on the season.
