Hilarious. Ohio State fans are defending Meyer for what he did to Florida, just because he happens to be their coach at the moment.

And when you think about it, EVERY coach eventually uses this excuse in some form. Some of them just phrase it better, i.e., "give me time to recruit the kind of players for the type of system I want to run," and so forth.

I actually think Texas will be back sooner than later. Big programs like that don't tend to stay down for long. At any rate, I guess you gotta enjoy the good seasons while you can because no team stays on top forever.
