OSHA was involved, kinda craps on your cover up theory right?

Kid didn't want to go up, Kelly was advised against practicing outside, ND was fined for violations.

Yeah, and he expressed that by posting messages on Twitter, cmon dude.

Kelly isn't allowed to make that call, of course they were fined. I spend most of my summers working in the safety industry and on our jobs we don't "advise" customers on what to do, we tell them how it's going to happen. Untrained civilians don't get to make that call. He fact that it was allowed to happen was a huge failure by any safety staff involved.

Really? There's rapist, cheaters, and thiefs that play CFB, but Te'o got catfished and he's the biggest dbag in CFB history? Please.

You forgot to mention that Teo continued a lie in order to try and deceive voters into voting for him because of his dead imaginary girlfriend.

That being said, there have been many bigger dbags than Teo.

So you are saying that was a safety officer on site that day and said it was ok for that kid to go up on that lift?

So who was there that "told" him how it was going to happen? You are saying Kelly did not make the decision, who did? Who told the HC at ND that it was safe? From the reports those in his chain expressed concerns about practicing outside. If you know it was not Kelly who gave the OK to practice outside over the concerns of those in the chain, who was it?

My point was that it shouldn't have been in Kelly's hands. He apparently did give the final word, but it wasn't his to give. That's why ND had to settle a court case. Someone unfamiliar with OSHA regulations isn't allowed to have any say in what equipment is being used.

It'd pretty much be like you walking into an operation and telling the surgeon what to do, that shit just doesn't happen.

I don't understand why so many people, especially fans other than flahiduh, hate him. He seems like a pretty nice guy, its not like he acts like an ass like Spurrier or Harbaugh......

GatorNation hates him for leaving The Swamp. The rest of the Haters out there, not sure. Maybe w/ some fan bases it's nothing but jealousy?

Douchebag or not, there are 2 coaches in CFB that strike fear into their opponents and they are Saban and Meyer. FACT.

(Harbaugh may or may not make it to that level, the jury is still out.)

Brian Kelly killed a kid by sending him up in a scissor lift to film practice during a storm.

Urban's got nothing on Kelly.

My point was that it shouldn't have been in Kelly's hands. He apparently did give the final word, but it wasn't his to give. That's why ND had to settle a court case. Someone unfamiliar with OSHA regulations isn't allowed to have any say in what equipment is being used.

Exactly. It was Kelly who gave the word even when he shouldn't. Even when he had others advising against. You are right it should not have been his call but he made it his call, he decided it was important to practice outside and important enough for that kid to be up there. This is exactly what was said in the first place. If Kelly makes the call to put that kid up there he is responsible whether it should have been in his hands or not.
