Lol.. No, sorry I should have said vcash. My wife would have served me the papers if I dropped $500 to a bookie. I would put money on UB in this game. These guys are really buying into Bobby Hurley and I think they may be this year's Cinderella story.. Maybe I'm on the Kool-Aid.

I lost on every favorite I v-bet on yesterday. Only bet I won was LSU +2. Still not enough to convince me, though, that taking points is necessarily the recipe for success.

I don't watch much college hoops. Was surprised to see UB as only 4.5 point underdog in their first trip ever to the tournament. They did have a Division I hoops program while I was an undergrad there; I had almost forgotten about that. This was their star player at the time:

Interesting to note that he's 7 years older than me, but still had eligibility while I was there. He won the Division I rebounding title one season; someone I knew indirectly got mentioned in SI. He was a statistics major named Paige Miller responsible for keeping the team stats; my roommate was a math major who worked as an assistant. SI noted a conspicuous absence of "team" rebounds in the stats. Based on what I heard through the grapevine, basically every time a ball bounced out of bounds when Sam was on the court he got credited for the rebound.
