Both lines looked bad and both Carolina lines looked great.

But a win is a win. I see many of you poking holes in it because you your pick wrong. But theres no shame in winning a close low scoring game on opening weekend.

Who cares about beauty points. Seahawks won. The thing about this game is that is Carolina is such an unknown quantity coming into the year which makes them hard to game plan against and they're going to be pumped as well. Everyone knows what the Seahawks are going to try to do and they have a target on their back.

Huh? Anyone with half a brain in Seattle knew this would be a low scoring game. I think my official prediction on a different forum was 17-10 Seattle.

Carolina's D was surprisingly top 10 last year and Star was a monster in all of preseason and camp workouts. Then they picked up Short who I REALLY wanted Seattle to draft and Luke Skywalker is on that team who is just a beast.

Couple that with 1) road game, 2) East coast start, and anyone expecting some 42-3 blowout is a moron.

12-7 is not a surprise to me at all. Now I'm going to sit back and watch San Fran hopefully lose. That will be bringing down the true folks to Earth.

Shredded? They ran for a total of 63 yards an about a 3 yard per carry average. Rodgers had a QBR of 70.

Rogers threw for over 300 yards on us last year in the season opener too, and we won that game as well. They concentrated on beating us almost the entire offseason, and they did better. "Shredded" is drastic over reaction for allowing one of the best QB's in the game to rack up some yards. Reid would have had two INT's if it wasn't for minor penalty.
