That's a BOLD prediction! But I like it! Carolina certainly got the 'Hawks at the right time with their Defense not at 100%. But it will still be on Scam's shoulders! I could see it happening, but not sure!

We got the road monkey off our backs in 2012 which was a big relief. In all honesty, starting your season on the road is always a headache.
Taking nothing for granted in this game. We got to play early and 3000 miles from home. Man up time. But still, hope for a blow out, but will take a W no matter how close it is.

Cam and the Panthers won't be a push over but let's not underestimate how good this Seahawks team is even with some of its injuries on defense.

I think the Panthers d have made some strides on defense...but the Hawks offense is so fluid and efficient just as long as they're not beating themselves with penalties (holding calls, false starts, personal fouls).

I see the game being close in the first half...probably something like 13-7 Seattle...then second half Seahawks will pull away and win 27-13.

As likely as that is to happen, I'm actually hoping we come out with more roll out passes to TE and RB. I think Carolina expects us to run early and often, and their strength is the front 7. Don't play into their strengths off the bat. Create your own strengths like Russell's mobility and accuracy on the run.

I'm sure we'll pass as well. Just saying the running game is our xfactor as few NFL teams have workhorse RBs like Lynch that get that many yds after contact. 1500+ yds last year.

When I looked at the Schedule to make my picks for the week. I thought this very thing. Then I still went with Seattle. It is going to be which Cam shows up.

Another thing going in Carolina's favor is that West Coast teams are very bad in 1 PM EST games

I think this is a really good test to see how much "seahawk mania" is justified. The panthers are one of those dangerous but mid level teams that a an "elite" team, especially one that is trying to clearly establish themselves as that, should handle relatively handily.

Just for the record last year in week 5 (4 PM game) these same 2 teams met in Carolina and Seattle won 16-12 but they were able to force Wilson into 2 INT's but Cam played liked shit.

No team gave the Falcons a tougher time than the Panthers, they should of beat Atlanta twice but blew the game in Atlanta....It's not that far fetched.

Its this kind of arrogance I am hoping for from Pete Carroll. Remember they lost on the road to several inferior teams and got caught looking past them last year. I don't see that trend slowing considering the majority of seattles toughest games come on the road this year.
