5 minutes to play in the 3rd and Wake has just scored 3 TDs in the last 3 or 4 minutes. Current score: WF 28 - Clemson 14. Clemson QB Boyd has looked horrible today and should have 5+ INTs.

With a win, Wake Forest takes control of the Atlantic division with a game against Maryland remaining.

Clemson could clinch the division if they win.

As an ACC fan, I should be cheering for Clemson so that we can continue to have 2 top 10 teams, but if I had my choice of who to play in the ACC CG, I would choose Wake. Of course, I also consider Wake the ultimate underdog (smallest enrollment for FBS football) and they do things the right way down there in Winston-Salem. Grobe is a heck of a coach.

Good answer by Clemson. 28 - 21 Wake Forest still with the lead.

Look forward to a rematch in the ACC CG if we take care of business on our end. Hopefully, as a VT alum, the game turns out in our favor or at the very least we make it a must see game.

With the talent that Clemson has amassed over the years, they're finally starting to justify the recruiting rankings on the field. IF Boyd and Thomas finish out their eligibility, we may have a few more opportunities for big game discussions that aren't already scheduled.

Congrats on the Atlantic trophy. Outside of the GT game, Clemson has looked strong and all of the talent is really starting to play up to expectations.

Hate to "one up" you, but while the division trophy is a great accomplishment, below is the true prize of the ACC :cool2: . Do look forward to a great ACC CG with you guys if we take care of our business.

You guys look like you're getting better and better every week now, while we seem to be regressing. Honestly, I may have to root for the freakin' wahoo's to win out.

Well we did have that game against Duke just a couple weeks ago and have started slow the entire year in the first half. You guys have had a difficult few weeks, but the talent is still there. Boyd had an off game yesterday and still came out with a win. You should beat NCSU handily going into the USCe game. That will be a heck of a test and with only a week before the ACC CG, you may be beat up (hopefully no injuries). I'll definitely be watching that game.

As far as us, Logan has certainly started to come into his own after his coming out party against Miami. While losing Tyrod was big, Hokie fans are excited about Logan's upside. Already has the leadership and poise of a senior and further along in the passing game at this point than Tyrod was. Should be interesting to see him and Boyd next year.

Hopefully David Wilson comes back for his senior year and if we can rebuild our O-line after losing 4 seniors after this season (biggest concern), then I can see VT with a chance to be special next year.

As for UVA, they still have FSU this week and then us. If we get passed UNC on Thursday, UVA may be out of the picture if they lose to FSU which is very likely to happen. Just hope that we don't have a let down the next couple weeks and continue to progress and hopefully heal up on D.

Ya'lls team sounds a lot like ours. At least in my eyes. Boyd has been a nice surprise. He definitely has a lot of room for improvement, but is playing outstanding in my opinion for a Soph. and first year starter. I'm hoping Andre Ellington comes back for his Sr. year and can't see why he wouldn't to improve his stock. Then there's our TE, Dwayne Allen, a junior, that I assume is as good as gone, but we could have some great weapons again next year if he came back.

We graduate 3 of our OL and I would say that it's going to set us back, but I haven't been overly impressed with them. It leads me to believe that even with 3 new starters on the OL we'll be about the same there.

The defense ...... well, that's a topic for another day.

See ya'll in Charlotte!
