Turn Dempster into a long reliever who get's lifted as soon as we take a lead?

So what if it's unprecedented? It might save some Sox fan's sanity. Mine, for instance.

Come on he's not all that bad. I like him just can't understand why we signed him for so much in the offseason but the fact that when Clay comes back we can have a 6 man rotation and give everyone an extra day off would benefit all of us. We would see Dempster less and the guys would get that extra day off to rest and perhaps that would help Dempster to be more fresh and on point. I think his record isn't reflective on how well he's pitched. He's got a loosing record but he isn't pitching like a loosing pitcher. Hope he straightens out

When we're tied or behind he does decently, but not whenw we've got a lead.

He blew leads 3 different times in the game that inspired my OP.

3 blown leads in 7 innings!

That we do not need!

Yeah doesn't sound that bad of an idea. I think now that Clay is back (and seems to be healthy) he will be put in the pen... Help out Morales!
