I thought - in the Carolina game - that Ponder reminded me of Rodgers moving around and out of the pocket.
Fair enough. I'm not sure he's going to be a top flite QB either but he is starting as a rookie and that is pretty good. Its fair to say, I think, that he has a long way to go.
Alex Smith started as a rookie.

I thought i read on the bottom of ESPN today that Landry Jones was staying in school, but i can't find a link anywhere. Has anyone heard anything on his status?

#Memphis NT Dontari Poe, listed at 6'5" 350 lbs., has entered the 2012 #NFLdraft. 30-starts in college; graded as the top 3-4 NT in draft.
Haven't heard anything about that. But...
Thanks clyde. I was a little upset when i thought i saw that.
Haven't really seen much of Poe as I'm behind on the DL prospects. What's your opinion of him?
I'm not saying that Barkley is better than Smith, I'm wondering why that matters. What does that have to do with him being a first round pick or not? He can only hope that he gets 7 years to develop into a passable QB, right?
You guys should look at getting LaMichael James in the first round if he is still available.
Clyde, any word on Dobson yet? How long does it take for the players paperwork to be evaluated?
Is this years draft expected to be a good one or a deep one? Also what positions are deeper with skill? I dont get to follow college ball a lot so i was wondering what you guys who do think of it?
