We just had our 18 week ultrasound yesterday and here in Vic they won't tell you the sex anymore, not that we wanted to know anyway.

my boy number 1 is named after vancouvers "7 million dollar mistake" but we call him Robbie

my wife is expecting #2. Its early but Ive suggested the names Jack or Gian-luca (ridiculous italian name suggested to advance the cause of the name Jack). I havent even thought of girls names because having one of those scares me (lol)

As long as he doesn't learn George's 7 words or whatever it was! lol

Girls names are tough. We were marrried for 5 years before we agreed on a name if we had a girl. (yeah we had discussions about it waaay too early) Lydia was the only name I liked.

Pretty much every girls name i suggested during the pregancy of our kid #1 went like this

me:"what about emily"
wife:"I knew an emily growing up and she was fat"

We didn't find out with our first and it was pretty exciting! We almost didn't yesterday, but I could tell that my wife really wanted to know. Gotta keep momma happy!

Not really sure... you can still have it done privately but not at the hospitals.

I'm mostly concerned that I get a healthy one. I've heard about them having breathing problems.

ya but this is canada and Im 50 kms across the water from mooger and our health authority still allows it ... plus they give us one (just once) of those 3d ultrasounds for free too

Ya we have friends in Surrey that found out the gender about 2 days before we had ours. It's just an island thing, for now.

Mine is almost 4, and we havent had any issues. The added work involved is cleaning wrinkles and whiping their bums when they got to the bathroom. Since they are so thick they cant swing around to do it.
