He won't have anyone to blame this year. He had done so well at staying out of the news but he just doesn't seem to be able to just let things go. Last year is over, he has had a chance to heal and had a full off season. Time to play the game. He certainly as the most weapons of any Washington QB in over 20 years.

I've been saying this since we drafted Bobby, you have to take responsibility at some point. I mean he wasn't my choice for QB being that we gave up the farm for him and I don't believe any player is worth multiple 1st round and additional round draft picks. But I have to support him since we got him and i hope he shows up this season. Sportster you're right, he can't blame anybody this year. He needs to just settle in and learn from his mistakes from last year and try to capitolize with the weapons he has.

Hail

Thom is very cynical concerning Griff, always referencing him as 'Super Bob', which doesn't lend credibility to his opinions at times IMO, as using that nickname is passive aggressive in it's own right.

That said, Griff does have accountability for what he says, how he says it, where he says it and he needs to understand that not everyone is gonna love him unconditionally. You're the QB, hate and love is gonna exist, no matter what.

His response needs to be his play on the football field. Stop getting baited in interviews already. Learn from what went down last year. Time to let the past stay where it needs to be.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Tom and Shark are of like mind when it comes to Robert. Both are cynical and believe he is overhyped (that's not a completely unreasonable position).

Robert does need to do a better job of handling the press and understanding that every thing he says and does will be headline news and dissected a hundred different ways. He has done a better job this off season of staying out of the limelight, he just needs to produce on the field and all will be forgotten. If he has another down year, this will get ugly quickly.

you know , when we mockingly call some one a name i have a very hard time buying into the guys argument

for the vast majority of this off season Rg3 has kept quiet worked on his game and seems to be much better then last off season . that is where the focus should be

as for the media savvy stuff he is 24 and i expect he will put his foot in his mouth a few more times

i doubt he will "let it go " much either . he is ticked off and i am 52 years old and i have trouble "letting things go " when i am ticked off

the best thing is for him to shut up and play football and if he wins then this stuff will simply fade away

i expect us to get about 6 wins next year so it will linger around for another off season

Like minds Dad...

But regardless of age, there is a time one MUST let things go. That's just practical and wise.

of course regardless of age but what i am saying is if at 52 i have trouble with it , how do i expect a 24 year old to master it ? it is not realistic

I would have to guess that Loverro's beef ( and mine for that matter) is simply this. RG3 won for all intents and purposes. He got what he wanted which is, the coach gone and a new coach in his place. Most of the world considers all his struggles last year as a product of Shanahan and RG3 was just the victim. So there really is no more need for the offhanded shots at the old coaching staff. The best way for him to put last year behind him is to come out and be as good as he and a good portion of the world thinks he is. But to keep referring to last year and pointing fingers is rather juvenile. And to keep sitting there saying it wasnt my fault does give good reason for some to question just how much involvement he had in the dysfunction that was the Redskins 2013 season.

i will point to the fact that he is 24 and that stuff wont go away so easily . i expect we will see some more of the same

one last thing shanahan did himself in .

I still say this time last season, Shark was the biggest Bob ball washer hammering the Dallas board.
Funny what one season will do to an opinion

Not sure about that... Shark has been against the trade that got them griffin since day 1 and seems to me to be his biggest critic here and at Disney back in the day.

Pday seems to want to say I had ultimate faith in Griffin, when what i actually said all along is this.

If Griffin lives up to expectations,Dallas will regret the day we traded for him. Jerry Jones was high on batshit to sign romo to the deal he did. And even if griffin utterly flames out in the end, we are still in a better position than Dallas even WITH the 3-13 season last year. And lastly the idea that Griffin might live up to expectations worries him more than anything Romo has ever done worries me.

Now troll along little Pday. :)

How many times after his rookie season did you ask Dallas fans how they felt about knowing he'll be around another 10 years?

The post has nothing to do with Romo, Dallas, or Jerry, just that your tune has changed. No trolling, just an opinion....like you AND YOUR OPINIONS.

Question still stands. If he pans out, how does it make you feel to know that he would be around for the next ten years?? My opinion has not changed. He was a boom or bust move. He still is for all intents. And despite his current issues I still remain confident that the Skins are in a better place as far as the QB position even if he flames out. Can you say the same?? Honestly??

Oh yes, and while ya bullshittin. As hard as I am on him... his OFF YEAR was equal to average. So from a potential standpoint I got no qualms with him. He real issue is his ego and his mechanics. The second one is fixable. the first... well winning cures all. So should be interesting to see where he goes tover the next two seasons. :) Peace

you must be playing the age card here shark. Romo was pretty good in DC last time out when the chips were high for Dallas. I can honestly say that.

Matters not, you were on the Dallas board multiple times last summer asking that 10 year question and became deathly silent as the season started. That's more a troll act than anything I've ever posted here.

that is the point to my interruption here. You only became hard towards Bob in September. You were as giddy as any redskin fan this time last summer.

No big deal shark....just saying.
Look forward to it....even with Romo at the helm :yahoo:
