Is this game @ UK? I think it's a double digit win for Kentucky because Taylor is out. Myles Turner has to be the best player on the court and Holmes has to go nuts for Texas to win.

HaHa, I actually thought this game was close to even before Isaiah Taylor came up lame. With Turner at 6'11", Ibeh at 6'10", Ridley and Lammert at 6'9" and Holmes at 6'8", Texas has the size to match up. I thought if Both teams played well, UK was 4-5 better, with Taylor out, it's more like 8-10. But that's if they both play well. If UK doesn't play well, they could absolutely lose this game

We need Taylor so bad on offense. All Kentucky has to do is double the post when Ridley is in and deny the post pass when Turner is in (not strong enough yet to muscle people down low). We have no ability to break down a defense off the dribble without Taylor. Only prayer we have is that we get hot from the 3 point line and our transition game gets going. Holland is unreal on the break but pretty limited offensively otherwise. Holmes is a spot up shooter and offensive rebounder. His playmaking ability is pretty limited. Taylor is a huge part of this teams ability to create. One thing this Texas team can do is defend. Got to keep the game low scoring.

I'm glad Texas is playing a tough non-conference schedule. This will go a long way come tournament time.

To beat UK, Texas will need to excellent ball movement. That has never been a strength for a Barnes team. In Rup UK by 10. Great game for both teams moving forward. Neither team will probably see another front line like this the rest of the way. It will be interesting to see how some of them react

I see either way you win. Had that a few weeks ago when UT was up at UConn.

no taylor no chance imo. they couldn't score in the 2nd half against UConn. Kentucky is at a different level defensively.

Eh, you may be right only because when focused Kentucky is on another level from everybody defensively. But...UConn is a very tall athletic team who can defend the inside with the best of them. They are just young and really only have one go to guy on offense right now.

Just wish Taylor was playing, would make for a better and more entertaining game.

Felix is hurt too; he can be good or bad, sometimes both in the same game. But he also is the only real 3 pt threat Texas has, if he gets hot.

Dont see it ending up close, but still hope my Horns make it a game for awhile.

Taylor playing would make this much more interesting. But since he's not I don't see much of a way for Texas to win unless there FG% is lights out! and against the UK D that won't be so easy. It should be close for a time but UK will hit there stride and say cay later.

A couple great games tonight, wish I didn't have to fucking work tmr at 5!!!
