I do have 2 cousins in CA. They are professors at Stanford. But I have few cousins. 13 total. Though my mom has 31 and my dad has 43. They are from Irish Catholic families.

But then Mormon families are large too. My best friend has 13 brothers and sisters. Some have kids older than their siblings and were in the same classes together. Must be weird going to school with your uncle and he is younger.

I moved here in '87, and quickly learned that you don't go around bragging being from the Golden State. Big city lights don't impress these people who had watched their property rates go up due to the influx of "Hollywood" money.
Still rocked my teams' gear then, and still do.

That feeling is quite common in many parts of the country and even in some parts of California.

LOL, what else is new. I think it is more a couple of posters ripping the Hawk team on the General Message Board and you know they respond in mass, lol. There are a few good threads there that remain civil. I've had enough of the Hawk fans trolling 49er stories on the web so I just decided for the most part to steer clear of the General Message board. There was a story today about the legends game at Candlestick and a Seahwak troll had to start talking crap in the message board of that story. Nothing is sacred anymore.
