Sorry if :badmin:

Mid-season firings are unusual. Seems nothing is sacred anymore.

The ice has been broken.

Who's next?

Where is that walking dead gif where Shane is capping all the Zombie/HCs then Rick caps Kiffin?

2 on that gif down. 2 or 3 to go.

Seattle is going to lose its minds if they end up with another 7 win season.

Quite possible. @ Stanford, Oregon, @ ASU up next.

UCLA and @ Oregon State on schedule as well.

I dont think they lose all 5. But if they do his seat will be burning.

Yup.

Teams aren't waiting around to see if they can become bowl eligible anymore. It's bam you're gone.

Sign of the times to get in line for coach poaches come December?

Who's gonna break the ice and poach a coach mid-season?

Paul Pasqualoni is a terrible coach.
Don't know why they hired him in the first place.

I think that you will see a trend develop that schools that know they are going to replace their terrible ass coach will go ahead and pull the trigger mid-season. It just gives them more time to find the replacement without all the distractions.

It's where it's going.

So do they do a silent search through an agency to narrow down their man for a December offer, or do they contact their target now and have everything in place for December?

I'd think the latter would be more of a distraction for the coach to be.

I was think of distractions concerning the coach they were going to fire, and all the questions throughout the season about what might happen, and the uncertainty for the players. Bam, do it, it's done.

I would be talking to potential replacement coaches directly, now. Don't care if it's a distraction for the other team. Wouldn't hire them until after the season is over though.

Might turn off a prospective coach to be hounded during the season. Especially once rumors get flying. :noidea:

Bobby Petrino has been calling the UConn AD non-stop since saturday and saying, "no, really, I have NO problem with telling these guys to get bent. I can be there by Tuesday..."
