Gotta love to see those hogs from UCONN get beat even if it was Notre Dame that did it.

DAMN. That is brutal. 72-2 in the last 2 seasons and no titles (36-1 in each). They've now lost by 2 in OT in the Final Four in back-to-back seasons...66-64 to Mississippi St and 91-89 to Notre Dame. This season they only had 2 games decided by single digits...75-71 over Texas and 80-71 over Notre Dame.

Can't feel any sympathy for UCONN kids. They showed none in 140 to 52 and 124 to 42 victories during the year and the tourney. They couldn't run the shot clock down on each possession in the 4the quarter of each of those games. They needed the last 20 points to make sure the other teams knew who was better?

I am sure each kid wants to play hard when they get the chance in a blow out. But the coach could require a run down the shot clock to seven or eight seconds. In fact , that might good experience in case they ever had to play for the last shot in a close game. But by their arrogance they never expected a close game.
