i understand these things take "time" but come on draft is what 3 weeks away? what are they going to hire someone when they go up to make thier pick?

I don't disagree with you, but you really got all of this from that article? To me it sounds like the Devils have no interest in him. Do they have to publicly announce every coach they don't want?

yes, but him being the leading candidate to the media and to the front office are two different things, we all know our front office doesn't give two shirt what the media thinks

The Devils should be out Interviewing people because their #1 choice may be gone by the time they are ready to hire. Its bad business to be slow in picking up talent.

The whole "Hitch is #1 Candidate" thing was started by either Brooks of Neverson from the Post. I dont remember which one started it. However, the rumor is the biggest POS going around right now. Both those guys hate the Devils and would throw a party if the Devs take Hitchcock

We have to hire coach at least 2 weeks before draft. Coach should be fully involved into getting new or getting rid of old players if any.

I'm gonna bet they are looking/interviewing. They're not stupid and we all know how secretive they're where not gonna know shit, as far as we know theyll hire someone and not tell us til a week later

I don't see any reason to rush the search. Especially if they're considering hiring someone in house like Robinson.

I am sure they are looking and interviewing as well. After last season, they will be even more careful. We saw how having the wrong head coach can ruin a season.

I still cant believe how much a coaching change altered your team this season... If they can keep the fire going that they had in the latter half of the season, you guys will be a scary force. Guess that is all dependant on who gets the coaching job as well.
