There was discussion today on the radio about potentially getting gameday for the Miami game. I haven't seen who else is scheduled that day. I'll have to check.

One of the espn guys dropped a hint it might already be a while back, don't recall the person

Chris Fowler was the guy I'm thinking of, mentioned Game Day would be in Lincoln for the Miami game while he was in Omaha a month or two ago, nothing official yet of course

Miami Fl vs Nebraska is a BEAUTIFUL non-conference match up that I am thrilled for. Just a fucking grudge match of the 80's and 90's powerhouse programs that have been down for awhile. Should be a slug fest.

Glad to see we get two games. I just hate the "bias" of the ESPN announcers in particular. They won't give us credit even if we beat both teams by 50 points.

He's not wrong, yet. If we take care of business prior to we'll be, Miami will likely have 1 loss coming in (Louisville) so unranked

Fowler will prolly be one of them, he at least has the decency to remain unbiased, unlike desomond howard with his blatant psychosis with anything related to NU, dudes never once stated anything remotely original or intelligent about anything and ruins the whole experience for viewer nation wide

I'm hoping Louisville doesn't know what to do without Bridgewater and Miami gets a W there. I would think that would lock gameday up for us.

I'm really struggling to understand why its projected that nebraska won't be in the preseason top25…especially when most voters put such huge emphasis on bowl wins

I'm not taking anything away from our win. I'm merely pointing out the fact that Georgia had less motivation to do well playing us the second year in a row.

Plus pollsters tend to remember things....we have consistantly lost 4 games every year for how long? That may not be a fair way of putting things but till we get out of that rut, we may not see a ranking at the start of any year.
