I'll give Stafford credit for this one thing. In the presser, he took it all like a pro and didn't throw his teammate under the bus. He actually explained it quite well too.

But to lob it to what I'm guessing was supposed to be to the back of the end zone when Fuller clearly had position behind the TE, it was just a terrible throw.

Agreed. Even if Thomas was ready for the ball he was covered. I'll give him a pass on the pick 6 before I give him a pass on that 2nd mess of a pass. At least on the pick 6 the guy made a terrific play anticipating the route and Staff just didn't see him coming. On the 2nd pick it was all right there in front of him.

Overpaid, not over-rated. No one in their right mind is applying the "Elite" tag to Stafford. Top 5 in salary though - his cap hit is absurd for what he brings to the table.

Like I said, "mini" just because the guy ran so lazy. I do agree he should have seen the guy break off the route and thrown a goal line pass. It was designed to be a jump ball though so plenty of blame to go around and the partial pass.

On the pick 6, he was late on the throw. It's the same stupid shit that lots of QB's do but it was all on him. Timing is everything on that and he can't be late on that route. It'll get jumped 9 times out of 10. That's why I put it on him.

Happened to Wilson VS. the Chargers earlier this year too and that was all on him. See it too many times
