He’ll be fine. You guys will handle Arkansas with no problem even with wonder bread as your signal caller. With your bye week Tua will have three weeks to heal up. He’ll be good to go for LSU.

Good for him. I was hoping it wasn't real bad.

Gotta be honest, I love Tua but if I’m an NFL GM I’m not touching this kid #1 overall. He is too fragile. Which is why I think he needs to come back next year and prove he can get through a whole season healthy.

They did a tight rope procedure same as they did to the other ankle. Typically these things are defects that only show up in competitive atheletes like a torn labrum in the hip.

He should be better and stronger after recovery. This isn't a reason you don't draft someone. If it were a knee...different story.

He'll be fine for the LSU game.

Just like last year.

No matter what, he's a top 5 pick. There's nothing to prove, go ahead and cash in before it's too late

surgery for a high ankle sprain?

This technique is used to stabilize an ankle after injury. It can be used to repair a high ankle sprain, which damages the soft tissue structures between the tibia and fibula and causes these bones to separate. It can also be used to stabilize a fracture of the fibula. The TightRope system anchors the ends of the tibia and fibula together with a braided polyethylene cord, rather than with a rigid surgical screw, to restore the original position of the bones and to allow for proper healing.

He'll be fine for the LSU game.

Just like last year.
He'll play but be at 85% with probably just one week of restricted practice. If LSU can get pressure on him early and cover the quick slants it could be an advantage.

He had 28 days after the last surgery and 2 weeks of practice. Alabama lost the game.
