WoW.
You compounded stupid.
Lets see a pitcher throw a ball at a players head after he strikes him out while hes walking back to the dugout.
That is an equivalent.
That would be a crime.
A wild pitch, isn’t.

You seem to be avoiding that the helmet swinger lost his job and is banned from the league.
It's funny you made the "compounded stupid" comment when you don't know the difference between banned from the league and a suspension.

Intentionally throwing at a hitter is more than a WP. Tell me, in the instance of an actual pitch if the pitcher hits the hitter on the forehead and kills him is he charged?

Also know you aren't big on facts, but here's an FYI for ya @TurnUpTheHeat and anyone else who thinks Garrett should go to prison and/or never play again......Donte stallwroth killed someone drunk driving. Spent less than a month in jail and played for multiple NFL teams after his release.

Putting words in my mouth again to try to help you’re ignorance?
I never said he wouldn’t play again or go to prison.
I said anyone who defends his action is an asshole IMO, just like the assholes who defended Paterno.

If the pitcher threatened the batter, and then hit him, I imagine he’d be in deep shit.
In general, proving intent on a hbp would be near impossible.

you also called it a criminal act. Prison is often involved with criminal acts.

And here you go again comparing the 2 situations. There are mitigating circumstances for garrett's actions (even Rudolph apologized). Should he be suspended? Yep. There is no excuse for what Paterno and the higher ups allowed.

was there intent to kill Rudolph?

Let's try this......you are in a bar. You are kicked in the nads. You throw a bottle at that person and miss (and don't break anything in the bar). Do you think you'd be criminally charged?

First of all, 2 drunks in a bar fight is just that.
The bar owner/manager would determine if police were needed.

As far as what happened, a 280 lb professional athlete used another mans protective equipment as a weapon against him.
He didn’t miss.
Luckily there was no injury.
Any fan that supports that is an asshole.

me on numerous occasions - "Garrett was way over the line and deserves a long suspension"

Let me know when you find a fan who thinks what he did was OK.

What do you call the guy who thinks supporting a guy who hits another with a helmet and doesn't hurt him is the same as supporting a coach/school that allows r*pe of players over multiple years to continue?

and nice deflection on the question you were asked.

And also looks like NFL needs to rewrite their own rule book...

Rudolph started it and Garrett finished it. It was stupid and I wish he didnt do it but at leaest for once the Browns stuck up for themselves.

For once the Steelers will be the ones with the buss ride home with a team that had its ass kicked with a bunch of injured players.

and i feel fine about it.

Holy over the top, Batman. But expected from you.

Yes, I guess he could have killed him but very unlikely. There are plenty of plays in a game where a if hit the right way "could be killed".

Handful of guys really going at it compares to a brawl that spills into a crowd of fans?

Anyone remember when antonio Brown kicked our punter (Lanning) in the face? Pretty dangerous act with cleats, right? He "could have knocked his eye out".

The reaction then? The Browns were ripped for being wusses.

Here is Wiggy ‘thinking it is ok’, and you trying to justify it.

Pointing out your foolish comments is trying to justify it? Saying a brawl among players is the same as one that spilled into the crowd and had many fans involved?

Then again...from the guy who thinks Garrett and PSU/Paterno is the same when it comes to fans supporting either this shouldn't surprise me.

Oh, wiggy also said Garrett's actions were stupid and he wished he didn't do it.

Perhaps time has turned out to be more vindictive than vindicating. :noidea:

You mean like a double double guy who can play D and still be among league leaders in offensive rebounds?

Maybe quiet because Whiteside (topic of the thread) has been MIA?

He's only had one double double in the last two weeks....

Back to a double double average. Can we call him a double double guy again, or he must have one every game?
