Would you rather have Vmart or Trumbo in a 10 team h2h Fantasy baseball league? They would be my U, though Trumbo's versatility is nice in case of injuries.

I think you just answered your own question....and I'm high on Vmart, although not as convinced apparently as others since I don't own him in any leagues.....

For a simple drop/add in a ten team league, I think you are crazy to expect the normal numbers pre injury and another year on that body from Martinez.....Trumbo isn't what he did last season either, but he will be closer to that than expecting Martinez to come back from injury and be a .300 hitter with pop at the catcher position.....

I tend to agree with Driaz here. Is Vmart C eligible? If not, how many starts does he need to gain C eligibility?

Without being able to play him at C, he is a boarderline drop in a 10 team league. Playing him at U will likely be a disadvantage relative to your opponent's U player.

Trumbo. I targeted him in all 3 of my leagues in the draft because of his eligibility. I only landed him in one.

Martinez I like for catcher, but in a 10 team league there are plenty of people I would rather have at my utility spot than him.
I have my doubts about Trumbo and his holey swing, but he is young enough to change and like you said his versatility is invaluable. Another vote for Trumbo.

Well, I can't use Vmart at C, but he only needs 5 games to be able to. Anyone think Vmart plays C on non DH days?

The Tigers said before the season started that he would not be catching at all in 2013. Granted things can change, but that was the plan.

I screwed up and drafted vmart and now regret it on cbs( r we allowed to say that dirty word) where he is not C eligible Lot better options out there
