Kid misses a lot of throws and seems to start slow, but I do like that he bounces back and plays better in the second half, and I like that he's a gamer, in that he can will his team to victory, be it on foot or through the air.

Tough conditions today likely affected QB play quite a bit, but a much-needed win is all that matters.

Yup, you're terrible when your 8th or worse in the league, QBR wise. I like Mitch this year more than I did last year. I bet I like him even more next year.

Accuracy has been down the past 2 weeks. Some might say Soldier Field conditions (especially yesterday) along with some overzealousness...but I'm leaning toward Allen Robinson's absence (who gets 1/4 of Mitch's targets through our first five games) has had more of an impact. Gotta adjust to the next man up and make the receivers better rather than the reverse.

I think he’s been rock solid. He had 1 bad mistake. I don’t know if that was an overthrow or a miscommunication. Burton kind of let up on that route right when Trubisky threw it.

So... Do that against divisional opponents and they end up on the bottom of tge division again.

What are you talking about? They’ve blown out the last two teams. They’ll be favorites against Detroit. The mistakes he’s making aren’t boneheaded. Give him time to learn. He’s getting better. I like out chances against Minnesota.

That's exactly what he needs...more time to learn,I mean,its not like he hasn't practiced day-in-day-out with the same offense...….That would be a start.

Not trying to be an ass here,but damn,some of these throws are like "wtf"?...….That is not from learning....That is like what are you doing?...…....They practice this stuff everday……...His learning should be over by now.

And getting better…...nah,its been pretty much the same.....good drive here,good drive there with bad drives in between...……...Jay Cutleresqe……...

I think he only had that one bad throw and it looked like a miscommunication. I saw no mistakes other than that that were concerning. He has gotten better. It’s a process. He will get better with each game. I think we got a franchise qb right now.
