....Foles was moving towards the play.

It was a douchebag move, but it was legal.

Let's just consider it a "teaching" for Nick moment and move on.

This... it was a cheap shot, and it was dirty... but it was legal. However tou could make an argument that it was an illegal crackback block which the nfl made a rule a few years ago to protect "specialist". But imo, it wasnt illegal. Ive done far worse on the football field and ive only had two penalties called on me in 14 years of playing from pee-wee till college.

Terrible ruling. notice how he says "tackle" instead of "block". Idiot.

Then Hugh Douglas should sue the NFL to have his money returned. Because he was fined (and maybe suspended) for a hit on IIRC Miller in a Chicago playoff game (IIRC in 2002), while escorting a returner, and taking out a QB coming in from the front. And not one from the rear who is letting up.

This was not legal, this is the NFL f-ing up. Like they did this whole game (hello leading with helmets).

Its football guys. We cant b! Tch about it being a heartbeat away from the powderpuff league, and then call for punishment when foles by definition jogged toward the play. He didnt jog toward his sideline, he ran toward the play. Did baker know foles wasnt in position to make a play on the ball? Yeah, thats why its a cheap shot.

The difference between this, and hugh's hit on miller was that miller was standing still and got blasted. Foles put his team first and ran toward the play. If trent cole does the same to kapearnick next week, we'd all be high fiving.

So, baker got ejected. For taking a cheap, excessive but legal hit. Thats justice enough.

Btw, if we get a pick, and no-one puts a hat on kap next week and kap makes the tackle, tv's across the deleware valley will implode from flying objects. Lol

Baker got a 15 yard penalty and got ejected, so its not like the "illegality" of the hit was completely overlooked. He just wasn't suspended/fined in addition.

Cousins better be on the lookout. That said, this should & probably will be actually a good thing for the team in the long run. The hit, how we responded, how Baker keeps talking & the NFL ruling.

US AGAINST THE WORLD! Heres to 4-0 bitches.

BTW....Chris Baker has been arrested for assault before & kicked off the Penn State team. Not a choir boy with no reputation by any means.
