I will later look up and compare it to other teams, but only 56 players got offensive rebounds last year for the Jazz. Only 46 of them, I think got more than one. Is this normal?

I know that our offense is trying to spread the ball and so players are going to be out of position to get offense of rebounds. I think we were OK shooting so they’re going to be fewer opportunities, maybe. Also, we emphasize transition defense so rather than going for the offensive rebound and being out of position, we may just get back on defense.

You made the search so that they were required to have a double double.

That excludes a lot of games where Rubio had 7 rebounds instead of 10, and got a few offensive ones.

Oh, I must have pressed that accidentally. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I would have gone along my merry way being upset at her lack of offensive rebounding.

Much better. 195 players had at least two offensive rebounds and 388 had at least one.

On the negative side, my speech recognition will never say offensive. It will always say offense of. Then I have to go back and fix it. I have tried pronouncing it different ways to see if it works but it doesn’t for me. I have tried saying it like “offended.” I’ve tried to say it like a liberal. Nothing works.

So you're also saying that out of 1504 games, he had an assist in 1501 of them?

There wasn't any game where he was in foul trouble, or had an ejection in the 2nd quarter?

It's games falling under a range of assists. Malone didn't have many 10 assist games (6). He also didn't have that many assist-less games (66).

There was a 10 and 6 game. There was also a game where Stockton was 11 for 11 and Malone was 11 for 14. There was a game where Malone was 10 for 10 in Stockton was 9 for 10. There was a 12 or 12 for Malone and 10 for 12 for Stockton game.

The record is 23 for 23 in the league. For the time frame of Stockton and Malone.

I stopped looking after 10 because 9 and 9 wouldn’t beat 18. I might check later because that would be impressive for both of them to have that many attempts and make all of them. But I have to go do something.
