This is astonishing news.

There are some tweets he doesn't actually send. I thought it was all just random neural firings and poor impulse control. But it sees he actually will show restraint.

I actually think that anecdote goes beyond that - it shows that his tweets are actually a concerted policy effort and not just his insane whims. How else would there have been time from the tweet being drafted to backchanneling the Kim regime to reconsidering it.

And that, in big picture terms, is probably much more terrifying. My guess is that was when the "much bigger button" tweet came out which going by the logic in the story was probably conceived in a meeting with top WH officials. Imagine what will come out when he actually does want to start a war...

Uh, first, Obama never said this. Second, he had three quarters of GDP growth that were higher than last quarter's 4.1% growth. Lastly, the accomplishments of the economy over the last year and a half can be tied more to things having nothing to do with Trump (private sector, Obama era changes) than anything Trump did.

Ironically, the "magic wand" point Obama made was asking WHAT Trump was doing to create growth. Which thus far has been very little outside of just citing numbers he likes as proof he is doing a good job, not on the actions he has taken themselves.
