I'm kinda curious why these photos didn't surface prior to the last federal election?!? Did they just figure that there was no way that Stephen Harper would win and kept them under wraps until they really needed them?

Vote splitting. If enough ridings split the left vote the CPC can win enough swing ridings to take at the least a minority govt.

Nobody who wasn’t going to vote for the CPC because of social issues is changing their vote to them today but if enough of them change to the naturally brown guy they don’t have to do anything else.
