But Trump is about the farmers, @Darkstone42 . I mean, he just passed the Farmers Bill which remedied the problems he created by putting in place all these tariffs. So how can he save the farmers again after he cuts off the important supply of illegal workers if you don't let him build the wall to do so?!?

After making some bad financial decisions this year (we lost big on The Uterine Wall – a new IUD that failed miserably probably because it was made in Mexico) my wife and I had to shop thriftily this holiday season. I learned that shopping smart does not necessarily mean all the gifts are going to suck! Just most of them.

My wife got me season one of “Hardcastle And McCormick” from a inventory reduction sale at Le SuperClub Vidéotron. Well after hunting down a VCR (a 4 head one – sweet! (mono though L)) that could play the series I sat back and have been enthralled! It’s about a retiring judge who blackmails a car thief into hunting down criminals who somehow beat off the system! At least that’s what it seems like, the tape with the first three episodes was missing.

She also got me season 2 of “The White Shadow” which seems to be about a high school basketball team comprised of unruly minority kids and the white coach who has to tame them. Looks promising.

I got her The Uterine Wall (shes almost 50 so I don’t think she needs it but it was cheap and beggars cannot be choosers) and a framed picture of Eddie Murphy and all 10 of his kids.

It was a nice Christmas.
