I remember a time when several folks, myself included, were clamoring to trade up to draft this guy

I don't remember wanting him, but I do remember thinking he'd be a good player for Cleveland. It was somewhat shocking to see how bad he was in Indy. Particularly when you contrast him to a guy like Boom Herron who is a nice back, but was never seen as top talent.

desire... he don't have it.

Remember when Ricky Williams quit the league so he could smoke more pot?
that's what Trent should do.

I didn't like him at all. I didn't even want the Bengals to pick him with either of their picks.

Nah, their was a large group of people who said Richardson wasn't that good.

I wasn't referring to that. Yeah, there were people with positive feelings about him, and negative, and that is understandable. However, to know that he was as sure of a bust as anything coming out of college in the last several years is hardly the case. There were differing opinions of course, but sure fired bust? I don't think so. Good backs come out of the SEC, and Richardson seemed like a man among boys at Alabama.

Meh, I won't say I thought he would be a "Bust" but I didn't think he would be much more than he is. I don't like Alabama backs. Yeldon is another I wouldn't touch. Lacy is vastly overrated.

It's not necessarily that I like any schools most, I just dislike some schools. Alabama, Wisconsin mostly. THey get to run behind these big mammoth lines with offensive systems that completely cater to them.

I'm just curious if there are any schools who have 2 better RBs in the NFL than Lacy and Ingram. Oklahoma with Peterson and Murray is all I can think of right now. I'm not sure it's fair to stigmatize Alabama RBs. They run a pro offense and recruit pro caliber players

Both Lacy and Ingram are vastly overrated backs. Neither are great. Gore/Miller is a better combo imo as is Lynch/Forsett and AD/Murray. Ingram wasn't even a 1000 yard back last year while he and Lacy just happen to play for 2 of the easiest offenses to run in because of who their QB's are.
